Each wedding is tailor-planned by Nitani's expert team.

Included in the rate are the following:

* His and Her back massage (The Therapist will also instruct the couple on how to massage each other).
* Private dinner on the deck under the stars
* A classic wedding cake provided by the Nitani "Chef-Extraordinaire".
* Rose Petals scattered along the path at the ceremony, and in the suite in the evening.
* Staff singing traditional songs at the ceremony

We are also able to arrange flowers (dependent on season and availability), and optional extras on the bridal couple's behalf - this is however at an additional charge.

Please take note of the following should you not be a national of Botswana.

 

PRE-REQUISITES OF NON BOTSWANA RESIDENTS WANTING TO GET MARRIED AT NITANI PRIVATE GAME RESERVE

  • Require certified copies of bride & grooms passports.
  • Certified letter stating whatever their previous marriage status was. E.g. divorced, widowed or never married. In the same letter they must also state their country of citizenship (British etc), have no objection to them being married by a marriage officer, under the marriage laws of the Republic of Botswana. All the above must be faxed to us at least two months prior to the marriage taking place so that we can get the ball rolling on our end.
  • The Bride & Groom, will be taken to the Marriage Office in Bobonong, (+ 1 ½ hours drive away from Nitani). The District commissioners office is closed over the weekend & it takes two days from the time they have registered their marriage for the commissioner to come to Nitani to perform the marriage.
  • Cost of District commissioner’s marriage & travel fees to & from Nitani is R2000
